Our driver picks you up at hotel around 03.30 am and drives you to the viewpoint named Setumbu Hill. It is the hill with a height of 400 meters above sea level and located about 5 kilometers in the west of Borobudur temple. It is in Karangrejo village and one of the best spots to watch sunrise in Borobudur area. From this hill, visitors can see the greatness of Borobudur Temple in the morning and the beautiful view of sunrise. If you are lucky, you can enjoy the sunrise appears and shines between Merapi and Merbabu Mountain.

Next destination, continue to visit Borobudur Temple. Visitors can enjoy the mystical panorama of the temple, surrounding Kedu valley and distant mountain peaks. In this trip, you may see the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world that was built in the 8th and 9th centuries AD during the reign of the Syailendra Dynasty. The monument is located in the Kedu Valley, in the southern part of Central Java, at the centre of the island of Java, Indonesia. You have two and half hour to explore it. As an information, breakfast is in a reasonable restaurant near the temple on your own (optional).

After visiting Borobudur, proceed to Kraton or called Sultan Palace. It is a grand complex that was meticulously planned to reflect the Javanese cosmos. This elegant complex of pavilions was constructed based on ancient beliefs, of the connection between the God, human and the natural realms. Each feature holds a special symbolic meaning related to the Javanese worldview, who considers the importance of Mount Merapi and The Indian Ocean.

The last visit, heading to Prambanan Temple. It is a magnificent spectacle and an icon of Indonesia’s cultural heritage. A heritage site established in the 9th century which located in Prambanan Village Klaten regency, Central Java and administratively belongs to two districts and two provinces at once. Those are Sleman and Klaten Regency. The distance is about 20 km from city of Yogyakarta. Prambanan is beautiful and unique. It has a large garden. There are four temples in one complex, namely Prambanan, Lumbung, Bubrah and Sewu temples. To explore the temple, you need two hours. And then transfer you back hotel in Jogjakarta.
